Knit & Lit
Knit and Lit is a program for local crafters of all ages. Whether you are an expert or a beginner, join us for an informal gathering of knitting, crocheting and fibre arts. All you need to bring are your craft materials. If you are looking for a project, we will supply the yarn and pattern to create items for local shelters. If you are a beginner, we will help you learn the basics. We also have a variety of crafting books to inspire you.
Knit and Lit is held at 11 am every Tuesday at the Buckhorn Branch of the Trent Lakes Public Library. Everyone is welcome to attend this free program and registration is not required.
Yarn Exchange
If you need some yarn, come and take some from our collection. If you have some extra yarn, drop it off for someone else to use. We also have different sized knitting needles and crochet hooks you can borrow as well as free patterns.
We encourage people to make items for local shelters which we deliver to those in need.
